Tentative Day-wise Plan:
Day 01: Bagdogra – Gangtok (Approx 125 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Gangtok – “The Capital City of Sikkim”. On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 02: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake)
After breakfast start for a day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and cottage industry. Evening free for personal activities & shopping. Overnight halt in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok – Lachen (Abount 125 Kms / 06 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Lachen (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters Water Falls, Naga Water Falls.. Reach Lachen by evening. Overnight halt at Lachen.
Day 05: Lachen – Gurudongmar Excursion – Lachung
After breakfast drive to Gurudongmar Lake(17800 ft) via Chopta Valley & Thangu. Back to Hotel for lunch, after lunch transfer to Lachung. Overnight at Hotel at Lachung.
Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 Ft.)
Early Morning drive to Yumthang – Valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. LACHUNG – GANGTOK (ABOUT 125KMS/6 HRS)
After Lunch departure for the Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls. On arrival at check-in to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok – Bagdogra Drop (Approx 125 Kms. / 04 Hrs)
Check out from hotel in time to catch your Flight / Train for onward journey with Sweet memories.
